Equagel Adjustable Cushion

The EquaGel Adjustable Protector Cushion is a low maintenance, low profile, gel pressure care seat cushion, designed for mild to moderate pressure care. Made from a dry polymer gel, arranged in a series of rows and columns. Sitting on the cushion places pressure on the walls, causing them to gently collapse, allowing the user’s body weight to be distributed across a greater surface. The open structure of the EquaGel cushion enables greater air circulation further improving its pressure care capabilities.

The Adjustable Protector model has the added benefit of featuring removable inserts to adjust the height of the pelvic area of the cushion.

Top layer is a thin wall gel with a tight grid for a comfort layer
Bottom layer has a thicker wall gel and a wide grid for deep posture support
The pelvic area of the cushion is contoured to more evenly distribute a user’s weight than flat cushions, while retaining 1.75” of buckling gel under the pressure points
Fluid resistant, vapor permeable and flame resistant cover
Included are two different pelvic contour inserts that can increase the amount of therapeutic gel under the pelvis from 1.75” to 2”, 2.25” or 2.5” deep
The gel contour inserts are slipped into the fabric pocket inside the cover, beneath the gel.
