Independent Mobility & Rehab understands that prescribing complex rehabilitation solutions are often daunting.
With this in mind, we have developed a health care provider training regime that covers a wide range of current equipment options. Our customised workshops are aimed at all health care providers, including but not limited to, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Allied Health personnel and other medical professionals.
All our workshops are conducted by qualified staff and product specific experts/professionals. Topics of recent workshops include:
- Principles of seating
- Pressure care options
- Wheelchairs and seating prescription
- Clinical application of power seating options
- Lightweight manual wheelchairs and power assist options
All of our workshops are offered to allied health professionals free of charge and include comprehensive literature. Attendees are also given a ‘Certificate of Attendance’ to contribute to their Continuing Professional Development hours.
